This is the fifth successive year that Excel Publishing’s Northern, Midlands and Southern Housing, along with sister-title Builder & Engineer, have got together to celebrate and applaud the achievements of women making their mark in a traditionally man’s world.

Over the years, the event has gone from strength to strength. Nominations have risen year on year, making for an ever-more competitive showcase for the brightest and the best of female achievers in the housebuilding and wider construction industries. Audiences have grown too and it has become a major calendar event for some serious but convivial networking.

There’s a lot of doom and gloom in construction nowadays, but the 2011 Women in Construction Awards offer a chance to let your hair down and celebrate some inspiring success stories. So, we hope to see you at the Palace Hotel, Manchester, on 17 March 2011.
